I am moving alone through a site specific, natural landscape and enacting a repetitive arched back position that I interpret my body physically uprising as a form of protest, a
way to disrupt the peace within a rural setting while thinking about the Arabic word for uprising, “intifada”, and the ongoing global uprisings taking action in various spaces and
vocally advocating for the liberation of Palestine and beyond.
